About LPM
Latcham Pookal Malaratum, initiated by the LMES Foundation in 2020, provides career guidance for underprivileged students from grades 8 to 12. Latcham Pookal Malaratum, initiated by the LMES Foundation in 2020, provides career guidance for underprivileged students from grades 8 to 12.
The primary goal is to address the lack of proper counseling for students from low-income backgrounds, impacting their career prospects. The program employs a comprehensive career assessment test, evaluating orientation, personality, aptitude, interests, and strengths to identify innate talents.
Personalized career guidance reports are then generated based on these assessments. Experienced mentors collaborate with LMES Foundation to provide one-on-one counseling sessions, offering tailored advice. Beyond guidance, the initiative connects underprivileged students with scholarships, technical and soft skills development, and mentorship, aiming to bridge educational gaps. Through mentorship programs and motivational workshops, Latcham Pookal Malaratum empowers students, fostering self-belief and motivation to overcome obstacles and confidently pursue their dreams.
